Per IRS guidelines, general health and wellness (weight loss without a medical diagnosis or general gym use) is usually not covered. However, since we bridge the gap between physical therapy and personal training, many of our clients already meet the criteria for medical necessity. We recommend checking with your doctor during your next visit.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for personal training?

Yes! Because Concierge Personal Training specializes in senior fitness, post-rehabilitation, and chronic pain management (like arthritis or osteoporosis), our services often qualify as a medical expense. To use your HSA/FSA funds, the IRS typically requires that the training is used to treat or prevent a specific medical condition.
